Scenic World sculpture festival Flight or Fight
Superheroes ‘Flight or Flight’ was a major installation in the international Scenic World Sculpture Festival that took place in the Blue Mountains in Australia. Robb created a series of wooden painted sculptures of iconic female superheroes to identify social issues that combines modern metropolitan influences with a male dominated society. Robb states ‘The contradictions that are constantly challenging the individuality, create strength yet interdependence as women push their own boundaries and comfort zones transcending into modern-day wonder women. However, in doing so, they may not realise the longer term impacts of trying to be all things to all people’
